Dimensions: 4'4" x 6'0" (132 cm x 183 cm). Circa: 10. This antique Qashqai rug, circa 1910, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind tribal weaving distinguished by a dramatic chain of ivory and terracotta diamond medallions amid densely patterned geometric ornament. Its finely articulated field, angular animal and floral motifs, and richly layered guard borders reflect the graphic artistry of Persian Qashqai design. An ideal centerpiece for a living room, bedroom, or office. Faded warm tones of terracotta, ivory, slate gray, rust, taupe, charcoal, sage, and brown, with a slate gray field.
