This antique Shiraz rug, circa 1910, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian tribal runner distinguished by its rhythmic lattice of stepped diamond medallions and finely drawn geometric border work. The warm rust field is balanced by soft blue-gray and ivory accents, giving the hand-knotted design a beautifully aged, collector-friendly presence with strong decorative character. An ideal centerpiece for a hallway, living room, or dining area.

Shiraz is the capital city of Fars province in south western Iran and is major collection center for the regions tribal and village rugs.
