Antique Afshar Area Rug (5' x 6')

Dimensions: 5'0" x 6'3" (152 cm x 191 cm). Circa: 1940. This antique Afshar rug, circa 1940, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian tribal weaving with a finely drawn all-over lattice of stylized floral and boteh-like motifs. Its softly aged ivory, terracotta, sage, and charcoal palette is framed by multiple geometric guard borders, creating a richly detailed yet gently weathered decorative surface. An ideal centerpiece for a living room, bedroom, or office. Faded warm tones of ivory, terracotta, taupe, sage, charcoal, rust, camel, and pewter, with a ivory field.
