Antique Malayer Runner Rug (2' x 9')

Dimensions: 2'6" x 9'1" (76 cm x 277 cm). Circa: 1920. This antique circa 1920 Malayer runner is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian rug with a finely detailed all-over lattice of small floral and geometric motifs across a soft blue field. Its hand-knotted wool pile is framed by an ivory border of angular rosettes and vine-like ornament, with muted rust, taupe, and charcoal accents lending an elegant, time-softened character. An ideal accent for a hallway, entryway, or kitchen. Faded neutral tones of blue gray, ivory, rust, taupe, charcoal, camel, and sage, with a blue gray field.
