This antique Mahal runner, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian rug with a softly faded ivory ground and restrained blue gray, taupe, and blush patterning. Its hand-knotted wool pile carries an elongated all-over lattice of delicate floral and geometric motifs within a finely detailed border, giving the piece an airy, timeworn elegance.
