Dimensions: 4'5" x 6'4" (135 cm x 193 cm).
Circa: 1930.
This antique circa 1930 Hamadan rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian village weaving with a softly weathered geometric medallion design. Its pale ivory and taupe field, faded blue gray accents, and timeworn border create an understated, collector-friendly patina with exceptional decorative versatility. An ideal accent for a bedroom, office, or hallway.
Faded neutral tones of ivory, taupe, beige, blue gray, charcoal, and brown, with a ivory field.
Hamadan is a Kurdish city in north western Iran famed for its rug production. Numerous villages around the city produce rugs with their own design elements, all under the name Hamadan. They are woven on a cotton foundation, and are single wefted.
