This antique Moroccan rug, circa 1940, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind tribal carpet distinguished by its elongated chain of lozenge medallions and richly textured high wool pile. The saturated rose and mauve field is animated by charcoal-outlined geometric motifs with touches of rust, saffron, and plum, giving the piece exceptional depth and a bold, collector-friendly presence.
