Antique Malayer Runner Rug (3' x 7')

Dimensions: 3'3" x 7'3" (99 cm x 221 cm). Circa: 1920. This antique circa 1920 Malayer rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian runner with a finely articulated geometric field in muted sage, dusty rose, and ivory, framed by a richly patterned rust border. Its hand-knotted wool pile displays stacked tribal medallions, angular floral devices, and small animal-like motifs with the nuanced patina prized in early 20th-century village weaving. An ideal accent for a hallway, entryway, or kitchen. Faded warm tones of sage, rust, ivory, dusty rose, charcoal, ochre, olive, and terracotta, with a sage field.
