Dimensions: 8'0" x 10'7" (244 cm x 323 cm). Circa: 1940. This handmade one-of-a-kind antique Kars rug, woven circa 1940, showcases the bold village geometry and graphic balance that make Caucasian and eastern Anatolian weavings so collectible. Its dark field is animated by two stacked polygonal medallions, stylized floral and latch-hook motifs, and a richly drawn border in rust, ivory, rose, and apricot tones, creating a striking hand-knotted presentation with strong decorative presence. An ideal centerpiece for a living room, dining room, or office. Muted warm tones of charcoal, rust, ivory, rose, apricot, taupe, burgundy, and gold, with a charcoal field.
