This vintage Afshar rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind tribal weaving with a softly faded ivory field and striking geometric medallion composition. Afshar is a tribal group of people located in Southwest Iran, the Caucasian mountains, and Turkey. Most Afshari rugs are produced in village workshops in Southwest Iran.
