This antique Heriz rug, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian carpet distinguished by its bold geometric drawing and richly articulated all-over field. The terracotta-red ground is framed by a striking sky-blue border, with angular botanical motifs and tribal-inflected detailing that showcase the powerful craftsmanship and decorative presence collectors prize in early 20th-century Heriz weavings. Hand-knotted and visually dynamic, it makes an ideal centerpiece for a living room, dining room, or office.
