This antique Caucasian rug, circa 1900, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind tribal weaving distinguished by its striking diagonal striped field and crisp geometric border system. The ivory-ground composition is animated by saturated bands of rust, indigo, camel, and rose accented with small repeating rosettes, showcasing the bold graphic character and hand-knotted craftsmanship prized in Caucasian rugs. Its elongated 4' x 8' format makes it an ideal statement piece for a hallway, entryway, or office.
