Antique Hamadan Runner Rug (3' x 9')
Dimensions: 3'0" x 9'0" (91 cm x 274 cm).
Circa: 1930.
This antique Hamadan runner, hand-knotted in Persia circa 1930, is a handmade one-of-a-kind piece distinguished by its elongated format and finely drawn tribal geometry. The ivory field is softened by age and framed by a narrow border, with stylized botanical and latch-hook motifs rendered in a beautifully faded palette that gives the rug an elegant, timeworn character. Its balanced all-over composition and collectible village craftsmanship make it an ideal choice for a hallway, entryway, or office.
Faded neutral tones of ivory, taupe, brown, camel, charcoal, and beige, with a ivory field.
