This antique Karaje rug, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian village weaving distinguished by its finely drawn geometric all-over design and spacious 7' x 11' room-size format. The ivory field is enlivened with repeating polygonal medallions, angular tribal motifs, and crisp border work in soft brown and pale blue, giving the piece a refined yet earthy decorative presence. Its hand-knotted character and balanced patterning make it an ideal centerpiece for a living room, dining room, or office.
