This antique Persian Heriz rug, circa 1930, is a hand-knotted, one-of-a-kind wool pile weaving distinguished by its monumental geometric medallion and finely articulated tribal-floral motifs. An ivory field is layered with soft sky blue, taupe, and chocolate brown angular ornament, framed by a wide blue-gray border of repeating diamond devices.
