About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 7'3" x 9'8" (221 cm x 295 cm). Circa: 1930. This handmade, one-of-a-kind antique Heriz rug from Persia, circa 1930, showcases the bold geometric artistry that makes Northwest Persian village carpets so enduringly collectible. Its terracotta field is animated by an angular medallion-driven design and framed by a striking ivory and slate blue border, creating a richly drawn composition with the character and depth prized in hand-knotted wool rugs. An ideal centerpiece for a living room, dining room, or office. Faded warm tones of terra cotta, ivory, slate, charcoal, rust, camel, brown, and pale blue, with a terra cotta field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
