About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 8'7" x 12'3" (262 cm x 373 cm). Circa: 1930. This antique Heriz rug, handmade in Persia and dating to circa 1930, is a one-of-a-kind hand-knotted piece distinguished by its bold geometric medallion and angular village drawing. The richly patterned field and substantial border are rendered in softly faded earth tones that emphasize the rug’s graphic structure and timeworn character, giving it strong decorative presence with collector appeal. An ideal centerpiece for a living room, dining room, or office. Faded neutral tones of taupe, brown, ivory, camel, charcoal, and sage, with a brown field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
