About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 3'4" x 18'9" (102 cm x 572 cm). Circa: 1920. This antique Heriz runner, woven in Northwest Persia circa 1920, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece with the bold geometric drawing and architectural clarity prized by collectors of village Persian rugs. Its elongated sky-blue field is animated by a sequence of angular medallions and stylized motifs framed by rust-toned borders, creating a striking balance of tribal energy and refined symmetry. A distinctive hand-knotted accent for a hallway, entryway, or long gallery space. Faded warm tones of rust, sky blue, ivory, brick, taupe, brown, and slate, with a blue field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
