This handmade, one-of-a-kind Sparta rug from Greece, dating to circa 1940, presents a striking vintage interpretation of a classical floral carpet with an artfully time-softened surface. Its hand-knotted character is expressed through a moody blue-gray field, charcoal tonal contrasts, and a gently distressed all-over pattern that lends depth, texture, and understated decorative sophistication.
