Dimensions: 3'3" x 16'3" (99 cm x 495 cm).
This vintage Tulu rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind runner distinguished by its bold Anatolian geometric lattice of nested diamonds rendered in warm rust against an ivory field. The elongated composition and graphic tribal pattern give it strong decorative presence, while the handwoven wool surface and minimalist borderless layout make it especially appealing to collectors of village rugs and pared-back interiors. An ideal accent for a hallway, entryway, or kitchen.
Muted warm tones of ivory, rust, and brown, with a ivory field.
Tulu rugs are woven in the Konya area of Turkey. They were originally made as bedding rugs. The Term “Tulu” means “long haired”. They have a long lustrous pile with a course weave and bold archaic designs which make them ideal for contemporary décor.
