This antique Oushak rug, circa 1910, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Turkish carpet distinguished by its softly faded palette and spacious, collector-favored drawing. The hand-knotted design features a pale ivory field with a terracotta border, anchored by a subtle central medallion and stylized floral motifs that showcase the relaxed elegance associated with antique Oushak weaving. Oushak is a town in West Central Anatolia. Since the fifteenth century, it is the most famous and important rug producing center of Turkey.
