Antique Mahal Area Rug (10' x 12')

Dimensions: 10'0" x 12'10" (305 cm x 391 cm). Circa: 1920. This antique circa 1920 Mahal rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian carpet with a finely detailed all-over floral lattice and a softly weathered palette of terracotta, ivory, and blue gray. Its hand-knotted wool pile and broad terracotta palmette border lend the piece the refined, decorative character prized in early 20th-century Mahal weaving. An ideal centerpiece for a living room, dining area, or bedroom. Faded warm tones of blue gray, terracotta, ivory, taupe, charcoal, sage, and rust, with a blue gray field.
