Dimensions: 10'7" x 13'11" (323 cm x 424 cm).
This vintage Tulu rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Anatolian piece distinguished by its quiet tribal geometry and spacious, minimalist field. The pale ivory ground is animated by fine linear motifs in charcoal and taupe, giving the composition a refined, graphic presence that showcases the artistry of handwoven village craftsmanship. Its understated palette and airy pattern make it an ideal foundation for a living room, bedroom, or office.
Faded neutral tones of ivory, cream, charcoal, and taupe, with a ivory field.
Tulu rugs are woven in the Konya area of Turkey. They were originally made as bedding rugs. The Term “Tulu” means “long haired”. They have a long lustrous pile with a course weave and bold archaic designs which make them ideal for contemporary décor.
