Dimensions: 2'1" x 7'7" (64 cm x 231 cm).
Circa: 1930.
This antique Karaje runner, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Persian tribal weaving with a finely articulated geometric field in softly faded ivory, pale blue, and warm brown. Its linked angular medallions, hooked motifs, and narrow patterned borders showcase the graphic precision and enduring character prized in Karaje rugs. An ideal accent for a hallway, entryway, or kitchen.
Faded neutral tones of ivory, pale blue, taupe, brown, charcoal, and beige, with a ivory field.
Karaje is a town in north west Iran in the Azerbaijan province close to Heriz. They are known for producing geometric rugs similar to Heriz on a cotton foundation and single wefted.
