This antique Khotan rug, circa 1910, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind East Turkestan weaving distinguished by its refined all-over compartment design and softly aged palette. The field is articulated with repeating cartouche-like motifs framed by geometric borders, showcasing the balanced drawing and decorative restraint that make Khotan rugs especially sought after by collectors. Its faded, elegant coloration and hand-knotted character make it an ideal choice for a hallway, bedroom, or office.
Faded neutral tones of taupe, ivory, brown, dusty rose, sage, and slate, with a taupe field.
