This handmade, one-of-a-kind vintage Sparta rug from Greece, circa 1940, showcases a softly timeworn all-over floral design in an elegant palette of blush, ivory, taupe, and pale blue. Its refined border, symmetrical composition, and gently faded patterning give it the understated sophistication collectors seek in decorative hand-knotted rugs. Sparta rugs are woven in the town of Isparta in south west Turkey.
