This vintage Tulu rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Anatolian piece distinguished by its spacious tribal geometry and beautifully time-softened palette. Its open ivory field is animated by faded coral, pale blue, and soft gold motifs, giving the rug an airy decorative presence with the character collectors prize in handwoven village rugs. An ideal foundation for a living room, bedroom, or dining room.
Faded neutral tones of ivory, pale blue, coral, soft gold, cream, and charcoal, with a ivory field.
Tulu rugs are woven in the Konya area of Turkey. They were originally made as bedding rugs. The Term “Tulu” means “long haired”. They have a long lustrous pile with a course weave and bold archaic designs which make them ideal for contemporary décor.
