This antique Oushak rug from Turkey, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind carpet distinguished by its softly faded palette and spacious classical drawing. The hand-knotted design features a central medallion, open blush field, and elegant floral corner spandrels framed by a decorative border, giving it the refined character collectors prize in antique Oushaks. Its gentle pastel tones and luminous aged patina make it an ideal centerpiece for a living room, bedroom, or dining room.

Oushak is a town in West Central Anatolia. Since the fifteenth century, it is the most famous and important rug producing center of Turkey. Particularly well known are the rugs known by their pattern such as “Large Medallion Oushak, “Star Oushak” “and Small medallion Oushak”.
