About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 2'8" x 3'9" (81 cm x 114 cm). Circa: 1930. This antique Heriz rug from Persia, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind accent piece with the bold geometric drawing and saturated palette that make Northwest Persian village carpets so collectible. Its brick-red field is animated by angular medallion forms, sky-blue spandrels and border work, and crisp ivory outlines that showcase the character of hand-knotted craftsmanship. A striking small-format rug with strong decorative presence, it is especially well-suited for an entryway, hallway, or office. Vibrant warm tones of red, sky blue, ivory, navy, pink, gold, and black, with a red field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
