About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 2'7" x 11'4" (79 cm x 345 cm). Circa: 1910. This antique Northwest Persian runner, circa 1910, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece with a striking tribal geometric design arranged along a long, elegant format. The saturated blue field is animated by a chain of rust diamond medallions, small latch-hook and floral accents, and a finely drawn border that showcases the character of hand-knotted village craftsmanship. Its bold symmetry and collectible early 20th-century presence make it an ideal choice for a hallway, entryway, or narrow living space. Muted cool tones of blue, rust, ivory, charcoal, coral, and camel, with a blue field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
