Vintage Tulu Area Rug (14' x 19')
Dimensions: 14'8" x 19'3" (447 cm x 587 cm).
This handmade one-of-a-kind vintage Tulu rug showcases the bold, graphic character of Anatolian weaving through an abstract grid of block-like motifs and softly striated color shifts. Its low-contrast palette of ivory, charcoal, slate, and muted sky tones gives the composition a sophisticated, modernist presence while celebrating the tactile irregularity of handwoven craftsmanship. A striking foundation piece for a living room, dining room, or office.
Muted neutral tones of ivory, charcoal, slate, taupe, sky blue, cream, brown, and pale gold, with a ivory field.

Tulu rugs are woven in the Konya area of Turkey. They were originally made as bedding rugs. The Term “Tulu” means “long haired”. They have a long lustrous pile with a course weave and bold archaic designs which make them ideal for contemporary décor.
