This vintage circa 1950 Rag Rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind flatwoven textile with a lively striped composition and richly tactile surface. Its cream ground is animated by bands of cobalt, lavender, charcoal, pink, and multicolor fabric, giving the piece a bohemian mid-century character and an expressive, artisanal look. An ideal accent for a hallway, kitchen, or entryway.

Rag rugs are woven from strips of recycled or surplus fabric — cotton, wool, or silk — rather than yarn, producing a textile that is both resourceful and visually distinctive.
