This antique Turkish Tulu rug, circa 1940, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece distinguished by its restrained minimalist character and deeply tactile woven surface. Its softly faded taupe-brown field is animated by subtle tonal variation and abrash-like horizontal striations, giving the composition a quiet, sculptural presence prized in vintage Anatolian floor coverings.
