About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 3'1" x 13'0" (94 cm x 396 cm). Circa: 1900. This antique Northwest Persian runner, circa 1900, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece with a striking sequence of geometric medallions set across a warm camel field and framed by a deep navy border. Its crisp tribal drawing, saturated rust and ivory accents, and finely articulated all-over minor motifs give the rug strong visual rhythm and collector appeal, while the hand-knotted wool pile showcases the enduring craftsmanship of the region. An ideal choice for a hallway, entryway, or long gallery-like passage. Muted warm tones of camel, navy, rust, ivory, crimson, saffron, and olive, with a camel field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
