Dimensions: 9'4" x 11'9" (284 cm x 358 cm).
This vintage Tulu rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind Anatolian piece distinguished by its quietly sophisticated, minimalist field and subtle tribal character. Its softly faded ivory ground is animated by fine horizontal striations in blue, rust, and charcoal, creating a beautifully understated composition with the tactile appeal collectors prize in handwoven village rugs. An ideal foundation for a living room, bedroom, or office.
Faded neutral tones of ivory, beige, taupe, pale blue, rust, and charcoal, with a ivory field.
Tulu rugs are woven in the Konya area of Turkey. They were originally made as bedding rugs. The Term “Tulu” means “long haired”. They have a long lustrous pile with a course weave and bold archaic designs which make them ideal for contemporary décor.
