About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 2'9" x 14'8" (84 cm x 447 cm). Circa: 1920. This antique Heriz runner, woven in Persia circa 1920, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece distinguished by its elongated format and bold tribal-geometric drawing. The field showcases a rhythmic sequence of angular medallion and latch-hook motifs in softly faded taupe, rust, ivory, and brown, framed by a striking geometric border that highlights the rug’s hand-knotted character and time-softened palette. Its narrow proportions make it an ideal centerpiece for a hallway, entryway, or kitchen. Faded neutral tones of taupe, brown, ivory, rust, camel, and charcoal, with a taupe field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
