About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 3'0" x 7'5" (91 cm x 226 cm). Circa: 1940. This handmade, one-of-a-kind antique Sarab runner from Northwest Persia, circa 1940, showcases the bold tribal geometry and elongated format prized in village weaving. Hand-knotted with a wool pile, it features a luminous ivory field framed by richly patterned borders and anchored by a vertical chain of stepped medallions in saturated indigo, rust, and camel tones. Its graphic symmetry and finely drawn minor motifs give it strong collector appeal and make it an ideal accent for a hallway, entryway, or kitchen. Vibrant warm tones of ivory, indigo, rust, camel, navy, coral, gold, and sage, with a ivory field.
Size
Hand-knotted rugs are never exactly nine by twelve, so a foot of give is the default.
