About this rug Show less
Dimensions: 4'5" x 4'9" (135 cm x 145 cm). Circa: 1930. This antique Turkish Tulu rug, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind village weaving with a plush wool pile and graphic crimson-on-ivory composition. Its open ivory field is animated by three stepped diamond motifs and rhythmic red horizontal bars, framed by a broad, irregular crimson border that celebrates the tactile character of Anatolian tribal design. An ideal accent for a bedroom, living room, or entryway. Muted warm tones of ivory, crimson, rose, and taupe, with a ivory field.
