This antique Persian Sarouk rug, circa 1930, is a handmade, one-of-a-kind carpet with a richly drawn floral medallion design and an elegant ivory field framed by a deep red border. Its hand-knotted character is expressed through finely detailed vinery, palmettes, and curvilinear motifs in rust, navy, and soft blue, giving the piece a refined traditional presence with beautiful age-softened color.
