This antique, finely woven, central Persian city scatter rug shows a scalloped, lightly abrashed navy palmette medallion centering a rose Sub-medallion, all on a cream field with en suite decor. The cream border shows large, petal rosettes and lesser floral motives. Some wear, but still very attractive and totally genuine. From an important city and time in the Great Persian Carpet Revival.
