Vintage Tulu Runner Rug (3' x 13')
Dimensions: 3'3" x 13'1" (99 cm x 399 cm).
This vintage Turkish Tulu rug is a handmade, one-of-a-kind runner distinguished by its striking geometric pattern and softly weathered palette. The abstract tribal design, rendered in a low-contrast interplay of ivory and taupe-toned wool pile, gives the piece a sculptural, modernist presence while preserving the character of traditional Anatolian weaving. Its elongated 3' x 13' format makes it an ideal choice for a hallway, entryway, or kitchen.
Faded neutral tones of ivory, taupe, stone, gray, and greige, with a taupe field.

Tulu rugs are woven in the Konya area of Turkey. They were originally made as bedding rugs. The Term “Tulu” means “long haired”. They have a long lustrous pile with a course weave and bold archaic designs which make them ideal for contemporary décor.
