This elaborately drawn NW Persian carpet displays the classic navy palmette pendant octogramme medallion on a saturated red sub-field, set within densely patterned ivory extended corners with light blue cores. The navy border features bent leaves and rosettes. The condition is excellent and the dyes are sharp.
