Juneteenth

Juneteenth celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, slaves in Galveston, TX were declared free. This was after the Civil War had ended and more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. We remember this day as a meaningful and special day in the history of the United States.

We wish everyone a happy and proud Juneteenth! Visit Juneteenth.com for ways to celebrate!
